Workshops

The Gateway conference offers a number of opportunities to present a workshop. We are looking for presenters to cover topics such as how to set up a scheme, evaluation of a scheme, recruitment of volunteers, monitoring schemes, where to find funding etc. If you have an idea and would like to discuss it more, please contact us.

Each workshop will last 45 minutes, which includes time for questions. The workshop can be interactive, discussion-based or like a mini-lecture. We can provide flipcharts, pens and IT facilities (laptop and projector). Each workshop will have between 5 and 20 people.

In order for us to finalise the programme in advance, the deadline for registering for a workshop will be 1 January 2008.

The workshop title, outline and name of presenter will appear in the finalised conference programme. We reserve the right to alter the title and outline of the workshop.

If you would like to provide any additional information to go with your workshop e.g. handouts, please send them to us by 18 January 2008 so we can arrange copying. You can also bring along a poster or any other materials which can be placed on display for both days.

If you would like to bring a poster along, then please indicate below. There will be plenty of opportunities during breaks for people to read your work and ask questions.
